Creating new HAIRbits: 2012′s DIY Red Carpet Hairstyles

After browsing sites like InSyle.com and People.com, I started noticing that the recent red carpet looks are featuring very simple yet polished hairstyles. I’m SO happy that celebs are FINALLY sporting DIY hairstyles to big events like the Golden Globes. I’ve always been the type of person willing to take a risk and try a new trend but it seems like, most of the time, celebs rock amazing but complicated hairstyles. The best part about this new DIY trend is that you can wear these looks anywhere. From a romantic night out with your partner to a casual dinner with friends or even a quick trip to the grocery store, these versatile looks are great for any occasion and only take a couple minutes to do! Get inspired by some of these celebs’ undone up-dos and sleek side-sweeps:

This sexy slickback popped up repeatedly at the Golden Globes and is simple to do. Check out this video for helpful tips and tricks on slicking back your hair!

I absolutely LOVE Mila Kunis’ undone bun! You can wear this bun straight back or on the side, either way it looks flawless and fun. Hair stylist Leo Bancroft shows how to get this look in less than 2 minutes!

This sideswept look is probably the most simple look to achieve but also looks the most glamorous. Whether you keep it straight or curly, this is your chance to show off your silky, shiny hair! To achieve this sexy look, check out this video and see how LolaMarie7 does it all herself!

Cute Easter Treat

Peeps, cadbury eggs, solid chocolate bunnies, malted milk balls, jellybeans, chocolate marshmallow eggs and/or bunnies and the list goes on! I wonder when more sugar is consumed Halloween or Easter? Not that I am not going to be eating my fair share of sugar today but I also wanted to share this super cute and healthy treat. Hummus and carrots is a great healthy and tasty snack and could the presentation be any cuter? A great idea to take to your family get together, your child’s class, or even just to make at home.
So enjoy your sugar but try and eat like the easter bunny himself and have a few carrots!

DIY Valentines table

Valentines Day has been one of my favorites ever since I was a little girl and brought my decorated box to elementary school, then middle school when they passed out carnations from secret admires, and now I’m an adult and still like celebrating the day of love! For today we wanted to do an easy DIY Valentines table, whether you are having a couple’s party or wanted to do something special for your sweetie. This sweet treat table was so fun and not to mention yummy to eat after the shoot.
Not to brag but how cute is my little valentine Brody <3
ENJOY!!

A special thanks:
