I still can’t believe I got to do a wedding in such a beautiful place. Malibu Rocky Oaks was an absolute dream! The pictures don’t even begin to do this day justice.
What makes this wedding the most special wedding I’ve done in ten years….it was for my beautiful momma.
Our vendors were such rockstars, I really did get to be present for the day. I’m not going to lie, I might have teared up seeing all our planning come to life.
Room reveals with my brides are always my favorite moment so to do this with my mom was surreal.
Ever heard the saying, a couple that prays together stays together <3
I’m not sure what was more beautiful my mom, the views, or the vows.
I love the joy in this photo, and you should see the selfie. Top notch. #modernbradybunch
Rick and the guys all wore suits in a variety of colors and patterns. They each brought their own style to light, and it was amazing.
Oddly enough, planning the cocktail hour was one of the things I enjoyed the most. Heather and I went to LA and January. We were able to visit all my favorite vendors whom I’ve stalked forever. And if you follow us on IG you may have seen our tasting at Room Forty. We lived our best life at a 3 hour tasting, with more cocktails than I can count.
The famous shot on the rock was an absolute must. Although it was a challenge getting up there, it was obviously so worth it. I even did it with the hubs, couldn’t pass up an opportunity so epic and thought it would be a good framer for our 10 year anniversary coming up in August.
Any of you 30 somethings remember Jason Castro from American Idol? He wowed us all with his beautiful voice for the ceremony and dinner. My step brother even stepped in to sing a duet, and now I’m thinking he should try out for A.I. SOOO good!
We’ve had late night ice cream during many of our reception, but Room Forty stepped it up and made it with liquid nitrogen…crowd pleaser.
Cheers to the Kirks!
