I’m a slow blogger, we all know that, but this post is a gem I’ve been waiting to post until today. Looking at a New Years Eve wedding in July doesn’t give you the same giddiness as it does at the end of the year. Casie and Brett hired me way back in 2014! We had a long planning period but their day was filled with so many small details, the time was to our advantage. I love working with them. Casie’s style was similar to mine, it made it extra fun! Mint, Pink, Black/White stripes, gold, and glitter makes my planner heart go pitter padder.Style and Story, this dress shot is incredible. You always have me in awe of your work.
Obsessed with these earrings.
Casie is a teacher. Her class made her a message chain, how cute is that!?!
Loved the transformation we were able to pull off at the Columbus Downtown Hilton. The ceremony lighting was perfection. The draping and candles added to the romantic look.
Seriously one of my favorite wedding details ever. I had the idea of mini pocket watches for a NYE wedding. It took a little time, but that special NYE client finally came along and I got to make this a reality. Unchaining and tagging these little one’s from China wasn’t really a party but the small details are worth the time friends.
Casie and her mom collected clocks for all the tables. Having a countdown at every table made the it extra fun for guests. Posy did a phenomenal job on the florals. The centerpieces were the perfect mix of glam and romance. Another labor of love…the bow tie napkins. Black for the guests and black and white stripe for the head table on a gold glitter linen gave the perfect festive look that we were going for.
This wedding was extra special since it was the final one of what was a crazy year. Having Vivienne in the middle of a full season was exhausting but I survived. I had to bust a
move in celebrating an incredible year. It’s not New Years without a balloon drop, and this picture is everything!
Happy Anniversary Casie and Brett and Happy 2016 my friends, may it be the best one yet. xo
