Lindsay and John had one of the loveliest weddings one year ago today. The couple’s wedding day began with a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Joseph’s Cathedral. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful churches in Columbus. Both historical and grand, every detail of this church creates a stunning backdrop to say those precious vows.

OHHHH the story behind this shot. Let’s just say it involves me turning into Danica Patrick, and the groom fearing for his life.

The dancing and fun took place at the Columbus Downtown Hilton. We mixed and matched golds, ivory, and navy to curate a traditional yet romantic reception. We brought in a 14 foot custom light up bar, with L and J’s monogram in the center and photo collages on the ends.

The sweetheart table linen was one of my favorite small details of the wedding. The gold metallic sparkle linen was perfect with the reflection of candle light in the room.

The lovely dessert spread was created with cake pops by a friend of the bride, monogram cookies by Nanny and Weeb, delicious macaroons by Pistecia Vera, mini wedding cake by the talented Cindy at Enticing Icings.

The first time I met with Lindsay and John, she told me that she was obsessed with neon and glow light ups. I figured she liked it, but then the first time I looked at her Pinterest board I realized girlfriend wasn’t lying. She LOVES it!!

Lindsay and John, it was such a pleasure being a part of your celebration. I wish you a lifetime of happiness and neon glow parties.
