This past summer we had the privilege to plan the bridal shower for one of our brides, Kelsey. It was so much fun because it was a totally different vibe than her wedding, which was sophisticated and all white. Deep down Kelsey had dreams of being a boho bride before her wedding, and those dreams came true at her shower!
The shower was held at her parent’s home which was a gorgeous outdoor setting for the shower. There was so much lush greenery and large open field of grass, making for the perfect backdrop for the day.
We wanted to include a lot of bright colors to accomplish the true boho vibe. Purples, magentas, yellows and blues were the main colors that we highlighted in the tablescape, the florals and the lounges.
This daybed paired with a boho rug, a pouf, colorful pillows and a wooden accent table was just exuding all the boho vibes.
Another fun piece of the day was having all the guests greeted with a flower crown to embrace their true boho selves. How cute do they all look in their flower crowns!
Even the bride’s dog was a part of the group in his flower collar!
A new favorite vendor of ours is the trailer made mobile bar. It is such a cute statement piece to have at events! For the shower we dressed it up a bit to fit the theme of the day, and placed a rattan lounge next to it for good measure.
To be a true bohemian lunch, chairs are not allowed 😉 This low set table with floor pillows for seating was the perfect boho
The dessert selections for this shower were out of this world. An assortment of sweet treats made by talented ladies, ranging from chocolate covered pretzels to cake to icing covered rice krispies- it was a dream of a dessert table, to say the least.
An essential at any wedding related event: a hashtag sign. #duh #perinup
How GORG are these?? The naked cake topped with florals and dripping in icing was stunning! Stacy killed it with this one!
Naturally we wanted to bride to have her own chair of honor while opening up presents. The rattan chair dressed up in florals and surrounded by the teepee was the perfect spot for Kelsey to perch while surrounded by her friends and family!
The bride and her sweet mama <3
The flowers for this event turned out amazingly. Amy from Posy is such a floral genious, so it was no surprise that the flowers on the table and also on the flower crowns were stunning. All of the different colors and sizes and textures gave so much visual interest!
I think we should put flower collars on dogs more often- what do you think??
Kelsey and her friends look like they walked out of a Show Me Your Mumu ad! #goals
This sweet girl so deserved to be showered in love. Thank you for entrusting us with your boho dream!
This was one of my favorite events we have done because it was so unique and different than showers we have done in the past! Seeing how happy Kelsey was with how the shower turned out was the very best part of the day.
