The Club at Corazon Summer Wedding, In Dublin, OH

Maggie and Andrew’s wedding on June 23 was a day full of so much joy and beauty. I met maggie 2 years ago when I was planning her sister Emily’s wedding. When Maggie and Andrew got engaged during Emily’s planning process, I was secretly hoping I would be able to stick around the Fitz fam for another year. And sure enough, I did. And luckily enough, they’re not done with me yet! I am planning their cousin Noah’s wedding for this upcoming July. At this point I feel like an honorary Fitz family member and I love it!

But back to Maggie and Andrew’s beautiful wedding day. They got married at one of my all time favorite venues, The Club at Corazon in Dublin, Ohio. Maggie had been praying every single day for a year that her wedding day would be 70 degrees and partly cloudy. And sure enough, it was 70 degrees and partly cloudy!

Their family refers to them as the “perky Perkins”…..see why??

I quickly learned that Maggie and Andrew are just about the friendliest people you will ever meet. So it only made sense that their bridal party reflected that in the biggest bridal party I have ever had- 14 on each side!

Maggie’s bridesmaids wore a mix of soft neutral colored dresses, while the men were in a traditional tux, to complete the romantic feel .

Maggie’s niece and Andrew’s nephew were the flower girl and ring bearer….can you even stand this cuteness??

The ceremony was one of the most important pieces of the day for Maggie and Andrew. And rightfully so!

Andrew works at a church in Cincinnati, so one of the pastors from his church performed the ceremony. Maggie and Andrew officially became Mr. and Mrs. under a floral arch, overlooking the lake with all of their family and friends as witnesses.

Andrew’s reaction to Mags walking down the aisle was just about one of the best groom reactions I have seen. So sweet.

As part of their ceremony service, Mags and Andrew wanted to have a time for worship. Part of the worship band from Andrew’s church led the bridal party and all of the guests in a worship song, celebrating the meaning of the day.

Throughout the entire planning process, Maggie was very sure of the fact that she wanted whites and grays, with greenery strewn throughout. Both the ceremony and reception were under a sail cloth tent on the lawn overlooking the vineyards and lake.

We incorporated the grays and neutrals throughout the tablescapes, with a table runner made out of greenery and dainty bud vases.

I love when we get to meet and work with new vendors in the industry, and this was the first time we got to work with BreAnne Weston Photography! She flew all the way in from Utah to shoot the wedding- she did such a beautiful job and was SUCH a joy to work with!

The MMJ team brought in some extra troops to help flip the ceremony set up into the reception set up in record timing. Meanwhile, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the veranda while the Shaw Brothers played acoustic music.

How fun is this guest book idea?? Instead of having guests write their names in a book, we had them take a polaroid picture an hang it in this frame and Mags and Andrew got to keep the photos at the end of the night.

If you know Maggie, you know that chocolate and sweets are her all time favorite things in life. So not only did they have cake for their guests, but they also had chocolate caramel brownies, Graeter’s Ice Cream and mini cupcakes. I’m in the business of making people’s dreams come true 😉

This was such a special wedding for a family that has become so dear to me. One of the best parts of my job is all of the amazing people that it has brought into my life. Cheers to you, Maggie and Andrew! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your story.
